About me
Nick Proud serves the Iowa City Community School District as the Chief Human Resource Officer. Iowa City proudly serves five different communities and over 2400 employees and over 14,500 students. Nick has previously served as the Executive Director of Secondary Schools, an elementary principal, a middle school assistant principal and athletic director, elementary teacher and high school coach. The Iowa City Schools have implemented numerous programs to recruit talent to the school district while diversifying our teaching and administrative staff. In addition to his work with Iowa City Schools, Nick serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Iowa and Mount Mercy University.
